Your home in a snow globe

Karl Stiefvater, who is a visual effects artist, needed to find a unique Christmas gift for his wife and came up with a brilliant idea. His own home in a snow globe. Because his wife loved it so much and because it is a great idea he decided to put a guide on his site where he tells us step by step how to make one. For this he uses SketchUp to make a 3D design and a little help from Shapeways to 3D print the house in color.
