Who needs stars like Miley Cyrus to twerk, if a robot can do the job in a more sensational way? Meet Fonzie, a dancing 3D printed robot. He was made in Korea to join fighting competitions, but the company Robosavvy has reprogrammed him to perform dance.
Robosavvy is a company specialised in the development and support of humanoid robot parts and kits. Limor Schweiter is the founder and director of the company. He says Fronzie was created for research purposes. His company is using the robot to develop a research platform for human-robot interaction. Schweiter: “Affordable 3D printers, supercomputers at the price of lunch, royalty free 3D models, free software and crowdfunding – this is the new playground for creativity.”
