The Fusion3 F410 is a professional grade FFF 3D printer and the successor of the Fusion3 F400. A big new feature on the F410 is that this 3D printer comes with interchangeable print heads. You have the choice between three interchangeable print heads, a .4mm and .6mm are included and a .8mm can be purchased separately.

With a new 2.0 extruder and updated 32-bit on-board controller, the Fusion3 F410 is very precise and near silent in operation.

The large enclosed printing area ensures that you can also print with heat sensitive materials such as Nylon and ABS while also protecting users from contact with high-temperature surfaces and sensitive electronics.

Add-ons

You get the option to include a heavy-duty rolling cart (as shown in the image) where you can store filament and other equipment. This is an add-on and not included in the initial purchase. The company also offers the option to add an external air filter system to the 3D printer. This is a suggested add-on for when you are working in the same room as the 3D printer is operation in.

Fusion3 offers a 2-Year warranty for their products and free lifetime phone & email support.

Printed parts seem to work just fine so no disappointment there. However, I strongly agree the Bowden tube retention system is Micky Mouse, but after 3 failed tries at fixing it (service did send me new ones but they always came loose at the extruder), I kludged it together by expanding the tube in the retention nut by forcing the tube wall into the nut threads by forcing an awl into the tube lumen past where the screw was positioned, and I then trued up the tube inner diameter where the nut is with a perfectly sized drill in a pair of Vise-grips. Very frustrating to start with this printer due to the Bowden tube problems and many attempts to “fix” it, but since then it has not come loose. If that had not happened, I would give it 5 stars.

Now that the Bowden tube retention has been fixed on my printer, I absolutely love the printer, my favorite out of about 18. Printing big or little parts, with PLA or PCTPE (my two favorites) it is very precise, produces beautiful prints, and I can print faster on it than my other printers. However, from a user interface perspective, they should sort the files on the SD card so that the newest date is at the top, not the bottom as it is. It’s a pain that way, and they should tell you the active print file during and after on every screen.

As I said, it is my favorite printer and I just ordered another one.

This machine is a horribly overpriced, poor quality POS. The design on this printer may have been done by a 5 year old. Cheap components. Prints just freeze in the middle of the process. Motors break. String breaks. Feeder breaks. Print head nozzle clogs. Customer service is accusative and responses are slow or nonexistent. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Wow – this is the 3rd different website that “Eddie Mac” has posted the same review. Seems sketchy that he’s posting the same comments everywhere.

I’ve been using Fusion3’s printers for 5 years at my University Makerspace – first the F400 and now the F410. Both have been rock solid, blazingly fast, and way more versatile (materials, settings, print heads) than others we’ve had in our space (Ultimakers, Raise3D). Their tech support when I’ve needed it, has been responsive and super-helpful.

Amazing 3D Printer! Great workhorse that is dependable and reliable. The 2 year warranty gives the peace of mind my business needs to run more high end materials for our clients! Support staff is friendly and helpful and replacement parts are shipped quickly. Even the hotend is under warranty! Enclosed build volume is a huge plus, this thing loves ABS!

Like so many of us engineers I got my feet wet on 3D printing with hobby / imported machines. It’s a good way to learn, no doubt about it. Once you have an idea what your doing it’s time to move up the ladder to a commercial machine. My company purchased the F410 and we are more than happy we did. Printing ABS and PC without any problems was amazing. Our print times were reduced significantly. For example a 12 hour print on our Ender 5 Plus, was reduced to 4 hours with much more precision and reliability. We use Simplify 3D for slicing, and taking advantage of their “Multi-Layer” function, it can reduces finishing time. We found using “made in USA” filaments a big help as well, no tangles, no weak spots. At the end of the day, with your F410, you load an STL file and get a quality part. As a small design firm, this is a positive sales point to our customers. We have actually had customers video their parts being made!

Really loving my F410. Just as advertised, fast, prints ABS and other higher temp materials really well. Not sure what “Eddie Mac” is going on about. Yes, some of the parts are 3D printed, but my F410 ( bought in March 2020) is as SOLID AS A ROCK!

We have used 3 different printers over the last 2 years and have had so many problems with them and no support. After 2 years of frustration, we purchased our new Fusion3d printer and cannot be more happy. This printer is miles above any other printer we have tried. The quality and speed is unparalleled. We spent more money on another printer and ended up sending it back. The fact that this printer is made in the USA was one of our top reasons for making the purchase along with the warranty. You never expect the support to be good after making such a purchase but the support at Fusion 3d is above reproach! Thanks for making my life easier with this printer!
