‘Bendgate’ has been quite a problem for Apple during the launch of its new iPhone 6 Plus. After people were finally able to buy their new iPhone, Twitter rapidly became flooded with pictures of bent iPhones. Apparently, some phones were not meant to put in yout back pocket and sit on. Of course, it’s not too smart to sit on your brand new phone, but on the other hand: the devices costs more than some 3D printers do. In other words: quality should be guaranteed, isn’t it?
For all the ones out there with a bent iPhone, there ‘kind of’ is a 3D printed solution to your problems. Kind of, because 3D technologists aren’t able to restore your iPhone for the yankee dollar, unfortunately. A Shapeways designer, however, designed a special case for bent iPhones. His name is Fernando Sosa and you can find his case via this link on Shapeways.
The case is called the iPhone Bendgate Case and you can purchase it for $19,99. The good thing about this case is that it can bend as well, meaning you can always use it.

In case you want a 3D printed solution for free, because you’ve paid enough on your iPhone already, then take a look at this link and 3D print your own bent case. That just leaves with saying we’re very curious about what the new U2 album would sound like on a bent phone. In case you have experiences in that field, don’t hesitate to contact us.
