3DQue Systems Releases ClickPrint3D Remote Management Solution

August 16, 2022

Vancouver-based printer-automation company 3DQue Systems Inc. has announced the release of their ClickPrint3D™ software, which is the first plug & play software offering secure remote management, unlimited SpaghettiVision and HD timelapse for all 3D printers using any webcam or picam.

Read on to know more.

ClickPrint3D

Powered by 3DQue’s proven Quinly™ software, ClickPrint3D packages a host of features dedicated to efficient remote management of 3D printers. ClickPrint3D’s usability-driven software features include an infinite queue, bulk file management, simplified job scheduling, unlimited spaghetti detection, and seamless timelapses.

Access to features like this tends to require unwieldy processes, requiring some basic coding knowledge that makes it less than user friendly to many who just want to push a button and go.

ClickPrint3D offers all the automation and monitoring from alternative solutions but is easily installed with 3 clicks. With features built-in, there is no need to install plugins and everything works harmoniously together, without plug-in conflicts you may expect from other, less-integrated solutions.

Built on 3DQue’s leading edge technology, ClickPrint3D was designed to make 3D printing more enjoyable, accessible and worry-free.

Secure Remote Management

ClickPrint3D simplifies file management and print scheduling by offering coding-free remote access to printers, and drag & drop queuing, meaning you can queue up as many as you can scoop up with your mouse and reorder them on the fly without having to delete the whole list. That’s in addition to the bulk queuing feature which allows you to add a whole bunch of files in the first place.

The dashboard shows what the printer is doing, what prints are done, and provides a job history for easy reference. The handy folder system makes orders, assemblies and multi-part prints easy to track and schedule.

Unlimited SpaghettiVision

The company’s “SpaghettiVision” spaghetti detection offers 24/7 around the clock monitoring and does not require per-hour pricing, and thanks to the newer technology used by 3DQue Systems, their spaghetti detection is significantly faster (sub one minute detection) meaning that operators waste less time and filament.

Using 3DQue’s unique SQUINT™ subpixel detection technology, SpaghettiVision™ even works in low light situations. SpaghettiVision is built right into ClickPrint3D and can be used with any USB or picam.

Low light spaghetti detection

For those worried about security of their image data, SpaghettiVision is hosted locally meaning that the images never ever go to the cloud. This is a great feature for those concerned about protecting their IP, such as folks working in R&D or with proprietary design work.

SpaghettiVision is the fastest, most accurate spaghetti detection available today, the company confidently announces. But don’t take their word for it…go check it out!

Ultra Smooth HD Timelapse

With the image capture features users can watch builds come to life without sacrificing part quality or print time. Content generation is streamlined and record keeping is easy using the infinite queue to schedule timelapses. With HD image capture, users can use it to diagnose printing issues by rewinding to pinpoint exactly where things went wrong.

To add to those features, the software also includes filament runout sensing, multi-printer dashboard, auto-part removal (and removal confirmation), live temperature control, bulk queuing/bulk uploading and more.

“Our goal was to make a plug & play, comprehensive 3D print management system that would provide print operators with all the information they need at a glance,” said co-founder and COI Mateo Pekic.

“With ClickPrint3D’s intuitive dashboard, users can securely and remotely check in on their prints, get notified when spaghetti occurs, watch and download HD timelapses, organize files, and rearrange their print queue on the fly without even having to leave the page.”

ClickPrint3D is released to the public today and costs $5 per month, per printer.

It is compatible with all Marlin-based printers.
