The upcoming 6th Fraunhofer Direct Digital Manufacturing Conference (DDMC 2023), will feature more than 50 expert contributions on the latest developments in additive manufacturing. The conference will be divided into 19 sessions, a poster session, and will feature four renowned keynote speakers – entrepreneur and networker Aditya Chandavarkar (AMTech), space architect Dr. Barbara Imhof (LIQUIFER Systems Group), Professor Mihaela Vlasea (Multi-Scale AM Lab) and medical 3D printing expert Dr. Özlem Weiss (Expertants GmbH).
The event will cover numerous material developments, processes, simulation, and digital production. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to several exhibitors during the breaks and network during the traditional evening networking event.
The conference will take place at the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz on March 15 and 16, 2023, and the Fraunhofer Competence Field Additive Manufacturing will be hosting it. The organization, which currently has 18 member institutes, covers the entire additive manufacturing process chain. They aim to drive application-oriented developments and be available to industry as a comprehensively competent research and development partner in the field of additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
At the end of the conference, the DDMC 2023 “Best Paper Award” and “Best Poster Award” will be presented, and for the first time, the “Best Presentation Award” will also be awarded.
