The Pacha Group has installed a 3D-printed modular facade system at its Pacha Ibiza nightclub. The project allows the venue to switch between three different exterior designs for various events throughout the season. Gola Studio, the company’s creative and production studio, developed the system in partnership with 3D printing company WASP.

The lightweight modules are designed for easy assembly over the existing building facade. All printing was completed within two months, producing hundreds of individual design pieces. The modular approach enables the nightclub to alter its exterior appearance based on specific events.
Three distinct facade designs were created for major venue events. The season’s Grand Opening in April used large white PLA modules featuring a wave pattern design. Later events including Camelphat and Music On incorporated transparent PET-G modules designed to create blue and red light effects.
WASP Hub Mantova handled the production using WASP 3MT HDP printers and WASP Extruder HDP XL units mounted on KUKA robots. The largest components were produced using WASP’s CEREBRO robotic arm integration system, which provides larger printing volumes than traditional enclosed 3D printing systems. This robotic solution enabled the production of oversized modules required for the Grand Opening facade design.
