AIRSYS Cooling Technologies has started construction on its new global headquarters in Woodruff, South Carolina. The $40-million facility will span over 260,000 square feet and include manufacturing spaces, offices, training areas, and a product showroom. According to the company, the project will create more than 215 new jobs in the region.
The facility will feature what the company describes as “the world’s largest liquid cooling 3D printing factory.” This manufacturing capability is designed to produce customized liquid cooling solutions for various industries. The new headquarters will serve as the manufacturing location for more than 20 different AIRSYS products.
“We selected Woodruff as the site for our new headquarters and manufacturing facility due to its strategic location, strong workforce potential and supportive business environment,” said Paul Quigley, president of AIRSYS. The company highlighted that infrastructure grant funding played a significant role in their decision to build in this location.
AIRSYS specializes in cooling solutions for telecommunications, data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, and medical imaging. The company has noted increasing demand for liquid cooling solutions, particularly with the growth of AI technologies. AIRSYS currently operates across 16 locations in 11 countries with over 1000 employees.
