Signify has introduced Puzzle, a linear pendant lighting system designed for office environments. The product is available in 4-foot and 5-foot sizes for task lighting in desks, meeting rooms, and other workplace settings. The luminaire combines office compliance standards with modular design components that connect like puzzle pieces.
The lighting system is manufactured using 3D printing technology, with all printed components made from 75% recycled PET materials. These materials are sourced from bottles, carpet, polyester clothing, and eyeglasses. According to Signify, the 3D printing process helps reduce waste compared to traditional manufacturing methods.
Puzzle integrates with smart lighting systems, including Signify’s Interact platform, offering features such as occupancy detection and daylight harvesting. The system supports both integrated and external sensors, providing installation flexibility based on ceiling configurations. Control options include both wired and wireless variants with different lumen output levels.
The product was designed by Florent Coirier and is currently available to customers in Europe. Signify plans to expand the Puzzle range next year with additional products intended for hospitality spaces. “My design inspiration was the way pieces fit together in a jigsaw puzzle, where individual components integrate seamlessly to form one cohesive whole,” Coirier said.
