Copymaster3D Unveils First 3D Printer Line

August 13, 2018

Copymaster3D have just joined the 3D printing game with an entirely new affordable line of printers. The company is looking to provide all 3 of their printers worldwide with an extensive list of features to boot. While the printers are mid-range in terms of price level, they also have a lot to offer, such as easy flexible filament printing and many user-friendly features.

Based in Britain, Copymaster3D printers are the product of a team of dedicated 3D printing enthusiasts. The line extends to 3 printers, all distinguishable by their build volumes. Otherwise, each printer is very much identical in features and quality.

  • Copymaster 300 – (300 x 300 x 400mm) – £499 (£415 for pre-order)
  • Copymaster 400 – (400 x 400 x 400mm) – £599
  • Copymaster 500 – (500 x 500 x 500mm) – £699

As mentioned previously, the Copymaster line is great for flexible prints. It can process a range of varying flexible filaments right out of the box with no need for upgrades or add-ons. Copymaster’s extruder head is also very precise, giving the printers the extra accuracy they need for flexible objects. The printhead can get down to a staggering 50 microns if need be.

Users will have to assemble the printers themselves. However, considering the simplistic open-build design, it shouldn’t take long even for beginners. The company states that this can be a 20 minute under-taking even for novices. The sleek aluminum frame makes it far lighter while not sacrificing the sturdiness of the design. Users can probably derive a lot more functionality out of the optional upgrade nozzles from high lubricity nickel to tungsten carbide for printing all those far more abrasive filaments.

While there is no heated enclosure, the print-bed is both flexible and magnetic. The printer is offline connectivity only. Although it lacks online monitoring, certain features such as the automatic filament detection make it easier to keep track of the process steady.
