QIDI has launched the latest addition to its Plus series: the QIDI Plus4, a consumer-grade, large-format 3D printer equipped with second-generation active chamber heating. This new model offers enhanced features, making it a standout choice for users seeking precision and ease of use.

View Technical Datasheet

The QIDI Plus4 builds on the success of its predecessor, the Plus3, with significant upgrades. It boasts a maximum print temperature of 370°C and a larger build volume of 305 x 305 x 280 mm, which allows compatibility with a wider range of high-performance filaments. These improvements make it an ideal option for users looking to create detailed, high-precision models.

Advanced Active Chamber Heating for Improved Accuracy

One of the key upgrades in the QIDI Plus4 is its active chamber heating system, a feature that was highly praised in the previous model. This second-generation heating module has been redesigned to deliver 400W of power, allowing the chamber to reach 65°C in just 8 minutes. The new air circulation design, combined with a powerful turbo fan, ensures an even distribution of heat throughout the chamber. This results in better print accuracy, especially when working with high-temperature filaments such as PC, ABS, and PA. The improved system helps prevent model warping and enhances layer adhesion, making the printer more reliable for complex projects.

Industrial-Grade Stability with Dual Z-Axis Motor Drive

The QIDI Plus4 is equipped with an independent dual Z-axis motor drive. This upgrade includes thicker screws and optical axes, increasing from 8mm to 10mm, and a hotbed thickness upgrade from 3mm to 6mm. These enhancements provide industrial-grade stability for the Z-axis, ensuring smooth and precise movement. Paired with its CoreXY structure, the printer offers exceptional surface quality for models, allowing users to achieve professional-level results.

Enhanced Hot-End Performance

At the core of the QIDI Plus4 is a high-performance hot end capable of reaching temperatures of up to 370°C. With 80W of heating power, the printer can handle industrial-grade filaments such as PPS-CF with ease. The integrated bimetallic nozzle enhances compatibility with a wide range of filaments, from standard materials like ABS and PLA to fiber-reinforced options such as ABS-GF, PA-CF, and PET-CF. This versatility eliminates the need to swap nozzles, simplifying the printing process and expanding the printer’s capabilities.

Upgraded Software and User-Friendly Features

The QIDI Plus4 features a fully upgraded operating system and slicing software for improved performance. The latest version of the V0.12.0 Klipper system offers greater compatibility and is designed with beginners in mind. QIDI Studio, the newly developed slicing software, delivers faster and more efficient print preparation, optimizing the printing process for better results. Additionally, the printer includes a self-cleaning nozzle system, which integrates waste wiping and filament auto-cutting for enhanced automation and convenience.

Elevate Your 3D Printing Experience

Ensuring a perfect first layer is crucial for successful 3D prints, and the QIDI Plus4 excels in this area. It includes a dual-sensor auto-leveling system, featuring a proximity probe and four piezoelectric sensors under the hotbed. These sensors work together to compensate for any Z-axis offsets, guaranteeing a perfectly leveled bed and a flawless first layer every time.

For users in search of a versatile, large-format FDM 3D printer with advanced features like active chamber heating, the QIDI Plus4 is an excellent choice. With its upgraded capabilities, this flagship model offers a reliable and high-performance solution for a wide range of applications.

The QIDI Plus4 is now available on the QIDI official store for $799. Visit the official store for more information. You can get an extra Tungsten Carbide Bimetal Nozzle or Bimetallic hot end if you purchase one between Sept 20th and Sept 27th.
