Creality Hi Combo Launches March 11 – High Speed Multicolor 3D Printing

Creality has officially launched the Hi Combo, making high-quality multicolor 3D printing more accessible than ever. While multicolor 3D printing has been around for some time, cost has been a barrier for many enthusiasts. The Creality Hi Combo aims to change that by offering an advanced yet user-friendly solution tailored for families, pet owners, and creative minds eager to bring their ideas to life. As Creality’s first multicolor bed-slinger model, it blends intuitive design, high-speed performance, and automation to streamline the printing process.

Multicolor Printing Made Simple

At the core of the Hi Combo’s multicolor capabilities is the Creality Filament System (CFS), a premium filament box with four slots. When multiple CFS units are connected, users can achieve prints with up to 16 colors, eliminating the need for post-processing like painting. The CFS also supports snap-away and water-soluble materials, making multi-material printing effortless.

Designed for seamless workflow, the CFS offers automatic filament selection, switching, and relay functions. It reads RFID-tagged filament, syncing material information with the printer for better accuracy. When a spool runs low, the system automatically switches to a new one, minimizing interruptions and reducing waste. The air-tight storage system includes temperature and humidity monitoring to maintain filament quality.

Multicolor Printing

Designed for Effortless Printing

The Creality Hi Combo is Creality’s most user-friendly bed-slinger printer to date. Arriving mostly pre-assembled, it requires only seven screws and minimal wiring for setup, making it ready to print in just minutes. The foldable 3.2” touchscreen offers an intuitive interface straight out of the box.

With advanced automation, printing has never been easier. The Hi Combo features automatic X-axis leveling and a hands-free bed-leveling system. Additionally, a built-in RFID sensor ensures that the filament type matches the slicing parameters, preventing material mismatches. The toolhead includes a dedicated sensor for pressure advance (PA) calibration, helping eliminate blobs and oozing at corners for cleaner prints.

Effortless Printing

Precision and Performance

Built for stability and durability, the Creality Hi Combo features an all-metal frame made from die-cast aluminum alloy. A rigid linear rail on the X-axis and dual linear rods on the Y-axis provide smooth and precise motion, reducing vibrations. The system also incorporates a proprietary algorithm to analyze and counteract vibrations, ensuring faster prints with reduced ringing and smoother surfaces.

High-Speed Printing with Enhanced Flow Rate

Speed is a defining feature of the Creality Hi Combo, with print speeds up to 500mm/s. The closed-loop motors with Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms allow for stable motion even at high speeds.
The hotend supports printing at up to 300°C with a flow rate of 40mm³/s, a 66% improvement over previous models. The tri-metal nozzle ensures minimal clogging and allows for easy maintenance via a magnetic front cover.

High-Speed Printing

Smart Software, Quiet Operation, and Privacy Features

The Hi Combo includes a built-in webcam for remote monitoring and time-lapse creation. For privacy-conscious users, the camera comes with a rotatable cap.

On the software side, the latest Creality OS enhances multi-filament management, while Creality Print now fully supports multicolor 3MF models. The Creality Cloud App expands access to new 3D model libraries and features, making it easier to find and prepare models for printing.
