Modix Introduces Super Tall Everest 3D Printer

March 14, 2024

Modix has launched its new Everest extra tall 3D printer and is already collecting pre-orders. This towering machine redefines the possibilities of 3D printing, boasting the capability to print objects up to two meters tall in a single print. With dimensions of 1000 x 1000 x 2000 mm (XYZ), the Everest stands tall among its counterparts.

Featuring the Griffin Ultra hotend, the Everest achieves remarkable print speeds of over 500 grams per hour, enabling the rapid production of towering objects with thick layers. This eliminates the need for assembling parts from multiple smaller prints, drastically reducing post-processing time and yielding stronger, seamless final products.

Built on the foundation of their BIG-Meter product, the Everest shares gantry, electronic, and heater components. Its reinforced frame, composed of strong 4080mm profiles, ensures stability and precision even without an enclosure. Optional add-ons such as an enclosure, magnetic bed, and IDEX dual print head enhance versatility and performance.

Safety remains paramount, with modifications to prevent filament spool accidents and recommendations for working at heights. The Everest comes with a comprehensive warranty and lifetime support, reflecting Modix’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
