3DMedNet Members Allowed Free Access to Medical Journals

July 24, 2018

3DMedNet and the Future Science Group (FSG) have just struck up a new partnership to make 3D Printing info more accessible. 3DMedNet has long been a purveyor of 3D printing and its applications in medicine, so now they can give unlimited access to research, commentaries, case studies and more for their current members.

The companies hope to give exposure to the bio-sciences through this initiative. Becoming a member of 3DMedNet is entirely free and now gives unlimited access to all these resources. The site features reading and also multimedia tools along with unique access to contributions from key opinion leaders by significantly expanding the portfolio of free peer-reviewed content available to members.

“Given the rapid expansion of this field, the ability to refer to a peer-reviewed, trusted source on current research and usage of 3D printing in the field of medicine and healthcare will be crucial in propelling this industry forward and bringing the most benefit to the patient,” said Freya Leask, Publisher of 3DMedNet. “This closer partnership between the journal and 3DMedNet represents another element of our continued commitment to serving the medical community.”

Free Biomed Content

According to the site:

On 3DMedNet, you can find expert opinion and insight, and exclusive peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as the latest news and advances. Every application for 3D printing in medicine and healthcare is covered. Including 3D printed pharmaceuticals, prosthetics, implants, medical devices and bioprinted tissue as well as resources for conducting 3D printing yourself. 3DMedNet members have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with industry leaders and academic experts as well as publish their own articles without the wait.

Founded in 2001, Future Science Group is a progressive publisher focused on breakthrough medical, and scientific research. FSG’s portfolio includes two imprints, Future Science and Future Medicine. In addition to this core publishing business, FSG develops specialist eCommunities. Key titles and sites include Bioanalysis Zone, Epigenomics, Nanomedicine and the award-winning Regenerative Medicine.

While the growth of the biomed sector presents many opportunities, there are still vast areas to explore. Hopefully, initiatives like this will empower the proliferation of biomed tech. It also provides the peer-reviewed journals to anyone. It could provide crucial resources for groups like med students so it’s a great program to have.

So, what are you waiting for? Join 3DMedNet and start exploring this wealth of free content today.
