Elegoo Day Sale 2026: The Four Best Prices, And How The Rest Compare

September 9, 2026

Elegoo Day runs to September 29 with up to 54% off. Four prices are the lowest we have on record, the material tiers are the strongest part of the sale, and a flash round is adding a kilo of filament or resin for a dollar.

Elegoo’s annual ELEGOO Day Sale runs from September 8 to September 29, 2026, both ends at 3 AM EDT. Four things are running at once. Flash rounds that rotate through the sale, a set of event prices that hold for the full three weeks, bulk tiers on filament and resin, and double reward points for store members.

We went through the whole sale and compared the headline figures against what Elegoo has charged in its earlier sales, so you can tell the standout prices from the everyday ones. Four came out as the best we have on record. Of the twelve other printers, five match a price Elegoo has run before, six cost more than they did at Black Friday, and one has not moved since April. All the figures below are from the US store, so European and UK pricing will differ. This is a price analysis and not a hardware review, since we have not had most of these machines on a bench.

The four best prices in the sale

These four are the lowest figures we have on record for each machine, and all four sit on the newer half of the catalog.

The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo is the clearest of them. $369 is the lowest we have logged for an enclosed four-color Elegoo, and it is the pick in our best 3D printers guide for budget multicolor. Do read the CANVAS note further down before you order, since that is the part owners report problems with. The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K at $399 is the other standout. One thing to know: it has spent most of 2026 in the $400s, nowhere near its $649.99 list price, so the useful way to read this is $100 off its street price.

Both Centauri 2 machines are seeing their first discount since launching in June, at $259 and $299.

The flash rounds add a kilo of material for $1

One part of the sale is easy to miss entirely. A rotating flash round pairs four machines with a kilo of filament or resin for $1, and in each case the bundle costs about a dollar more than the same printer’s standalone event price. The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo with a kilo of filament is $370 against $369 for the machine alone. The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K with a kilo of resin is $400 against $399. The single-color Centauri Carbon 2 with filament is $320 against $319, and the Saturn 4 Ultra 12K with resin is $360 against $359.

If you are buying one of those four, take the bundle version. The prices above are the round running on September 9. The rounds rotate on a timer through the three weeks, so check which machines are in the current one before you order.

Materials are where the sale is strongest

Single spools and bottles are only lightly discounted. The saving is in the bulk tiers, which come off the listed price once you add enough to the cart, and this is the cleanest value in the whole event.

  • Filament tiers: 20% off at five spools, 30% off at ten. PLA Basic is listed from $13.49, so ten spools lands around $9.44 each. PLA and Rapid PETG start at $13.99, PLA Plus at $14.99, PLA Silk at $18.99, PLA-CF at $21.99.
  • Resin tiers: 20% off at four bottles, 35% off at twelve. ABS-Like Resin V3.0 is listed from $17.99, so twelve bottles lands around $11.69 each. The older ABS-Like Resin starts at $19.99 and Standard Resin at $18.99.
  • Pre-packed bundles are a separate route and cheaper per unit again: 10 kg filament bundles start at $8.99 a spool and 12 kg resin bundles at $9.66 a bottle, with less choice of color.

Ten spools of PLA Basic at the 30% tier works out around $9.44 a kilo. The pricier grades land higher, PLA Plus near $10.49 and PLA-CF near $15.39, so the headline figure is for the cheapest filament in the range. Store members also earn double reward points during the window, though those points are Elegoo store credit and not cash back.

Elegoo lists certified pre-owned units for several machines below the sale prices above, including the Centauri Carbon 2, the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K and the Neptune 4 Max. Stock is limited and rotates. We could not confirm from the listings whether a pre-owned unit carries the same 12-month warranty as a new one, so ask before you buy on that basis.

Budget for the consumables, especially on resin

The LCD screen in a resin printer is covered for three months and classed as a consumable, and the resin tank and build plate get six. Release film, tools and nozzles are not covered, and resin leakage and scratched film are excluded, which are the two usual routes to a dead screen. The machine itself carries 12 months. On the FDM side the extruder and printhead kit carries six months. This is the shape of most MSLA warranties and not an Elegoo quirk, but it is quick to check against Elegoo’s published terms while you have the sale page open.

A replacement screen from Elegoo’s store is $129.99 for the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K and $84.99 for the Mars 5 Ultra, and it sells them directly with fitting guides. Screens are wear parts on any resin machine, so treat that as a running cost. A first resin setup also needs release film, IPA, gloves and a ventilated spot to work in.

Wash and cure stations are cut harder than the printers

Post-processing gear takes the deepest discounts in this sale. The deepest cut of all, the 54% on the banner, is on a $39 Mini Heater.

If you are buying your first resin printer, budget for one. Washing and curing is the step people skip and then regret, and the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K at $399 with the Mercury XS Bundle at $119 comes to $518 for a workflow that runs end to end, with resin and film still to buy.

How the other prices compare with Black Friday

Of the twelve machines below, five match a figure Elegoo has run before, to within a dollar. Six cost more than they did at Black Friday 2025, most by $14 to $30, and the Neptune 4 Pro by $50 on what was a $179 price. One, the Jupiter 2, has not moved since April. The notes on each tile give the earlier figure, taken from Elegoo’s own advertised price in that sale, or from a price we logged ourselves where the tile says so.

None of these are bad prices. It is a timing question: if the machine you want is in this group and you can wait, Black Friday is eleven weeks away and has been the better moment for most of this range.

One note on the percentages. Elegoo has raised some of the reference prices it discounts from over the course of the year, so a bigger badge does not always mean a better price. The Neptune 4 Max was cut against a $470 regular price in November and against $559.99 now, at an effectively unchanged $359. The dollar figure is the one to compare.

What owners report about these machines

Price is only half of a buying decision, so we also went looking for what owners say. This comes from public owner discussion that we reviewed in aggregate rather than from our own testing, so read it as a pattern in the reports and not as a failure rate.

  • Centauri Carbon and Centauri Carbon 2. Owners are positive on both, with the caveat that neither is a machine you unbox and print with the same day. Expect a calibration session and stock profiles that reward tuning. On the Carbon 2, a recurring thread in the reports is filament jamming during color changes on the CANVAS unit. We have not tested it ourselves and do not know how common it is, but it attaches to the machine we are recommending hardest, so factor it in.
  • Centauri 2. The open-frame version of the same color system draws fewer complaints than the enclosed one, which fits a simpler machine. It is a PLA printer. ABS and ASA want the enclosure.
  • Neptune 4 series. These are 2023-era machines and the owner reports reflect their age. Homing is sensorless, so it depends on belt tension, and firmware updates tend to clear your calibration. They print well once tuned, and owners commonly add a better bed surface and a hardened nozzle in the first month. Good machines for someone who enjoys the tinkering.
  • Saturn 4 Ultra 16K and Mars 5 Ultra. The Saturn is the machine we point resin buyers at, and we found no recurring fault pattern we could substantiate. The Mars 5 Ultra draws more mixed reports, including early failures and slow support. It also dislikes a cold room.
  • Jupiter 2. Some early owners report a motherboard fault that crashes prints from files above roughly 2 GB, which is not hard to hit on a machine this size, and others are still waiting on crowdfunding extras they were promised. We have not tested one and have found no public comment from Elegoo. Worth asking about before you commit.
  • The OrangeStorm Giga is a workshop machine. Owner reports agree the four-plate bed takes real effort to keep level and the seam between plates shows in large prints, and it arrives on a pallet. It is cheap for the build volume, if you have somewhere to put it.

What we would buy

The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo at $369 if you want multicolor in an enclosure, taking the $1 filament bundle for a dollar more, and going in aware of the CANVAS jam reports above. The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K at $399, with the Mercury XS Bundle at $119 if it is your first resin printer. Filament and resin at the bulk tiers, in one order instead of several.

If the machine you want is one of the other twelve, the price is reasonable and there is nothing wrong with buying it now. Just know that five of those figures are repeats and six were cheaper in November, so waiting costs you little. Our best 3D printers and best resin 3D printers guides pick on capability instead of price if you are still choosing, and our deals page tracks what the rest of the market is running this month.

Elegoo did not pay for this article. Sale prices, dates and warranty terms come from Elegoo’s ELEGOO Day Sale page, its product pages and its published warranty terms, checked on September 9, 2026, and can change during the sale. All prices are from the US store. Historical figures are Elegoo’s advertised sale prices, taken from dated coverage of those sales and, where stated, from prices we logged ourselves on our deals page at the time. An advertised price is not proof of what any buyer paid. This is a price analysis and not a hardware review: we have not tested most of the machines listed, and the owner-reported issues are patterns in public owner discussion rather than measured failure rates.
