HP is expanding its already impressive reach into new territories, striking a deal with Guangdong (Dali). As per the terms of this new partnership, they will collaborate on the creation of a 3D printing center. The center will host HP’s trademark Multi Jet Fusion systems in producing functional prototypes and production-grade parts.
Under the auspices of Guangdong Lanwan Intelligence Technology, the brand new Lanwan Intelligence – HP Multi Jet Fusion Technology Mass Manufacturing Center. Open as of Saturday, June 16, in the city of Dali (Foshan), which is a significant manufacturing hub in Guangdong Province. The center will exclusively use HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing systems. The machines are ideal for achieving the speed, quality and financial efficiency needed for production-grade 3D printing.
China serves as a major market for manufacturing and 3D printing technologies, so it serves as a natural location. The brand new center will provide companies production-grade applications at large scale. Their major clients will probably be major automotive, consumer goods and motorcycle manufacturers in Foshan.
Partnering With Guangdong Lanwan Intelligence Technology
Senior representatives in the national and native governments, companies and academia attended the Center’s opening ceremony in Foshan. Additionally, HP, Guangdong Lanwan Intelligence Technology and the Institute of Foshan, Nanhai Guangdong Technology College signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advertize the adoption of 3D printing technology in Southern China.
Since HP is one of the biggest names in production-grade printing, this is a massive achievement for Guangdong Lanwan. Additionally, the speed, efficiency, quality and scale of the HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solutions are a boon to many businesses. They have, so far, secured work with leading global companies including BMW Group, Jabil and Nike among others. HP also offers an increasing list of digital manufacturing partners in The United States, Europe, and Asia.
There are benefits for both company in securing this prestigious partnership. HP are also looking to push their HP Multi Jet Fusion tech. The center will house 10 of their newest, most powerful machines.
