Skoda Auto has released a library of free 3D printable car accessories on Printables.com, from cupholders and storage boxes to cable organizers, for current and discontinued models.
The Czech carmaker says it is the first automaker to offer accessories like these through a dedicated platform. Instead of ordering a part through a dealer, owners download the files from Skoda’s profile, adjust them to suit their car or their habits, and print them on their own machine at home.
Simply Clever has long been Skoda’s name for the small practical touches that make a car easier to live with. Turning those ideas into downloadable files moves them out of the factory and into the home workshop, where the owner decides what gets made and when.
The parts come from Skoda’s innovation incubator, working with the brand’s design and engineering teams. Publishing them as print files lets the company offer new accessories without the lead times, tooling and inventory a conventional accessory needs, which also makes it realistic to support older cars that no longer get new catalog items.

The general range covers cupholders, cable management tools, coin boxes, hooks that clip USB cables and caps into seat-back pockets, phone brackets and top tether hooks, all designed to work across several models. Many of the pieces slot into existing storage compartments, so nothing on the car has to be modified. So far the top tether hook has been the most popular download.
Owners of the Epiq and Peaq get a dedicated set of their own, including cupholder covers, a jumbo box tray, special inserts and holders, and a lower console organizer. A clip-on cupholder made for the Peaq’s foldable table takes both standard and large cups. These items were requested directly by the community.

That community loop is the core of the project. Skoda had already published 3D vehicle models on Printables, and the strong response to those files pushed the team toward parts people could actually use in the car. Comments and feedback on the platform now help the team choose which ideas to design next, which is closer to how makers share and refine files than to a traditional accessories catalog.

The full library is available on Skoda’s Printables profile.
