Designer Justinas Jakubovskis has created a 3D-printable case that transforms the Steam Deck gaming device into a portable workstation. The case incorporates a kickstand and ventilation features while accommodating either a Pebble Keys 2 K380s keyboard or a Pebble 2 Combo with mouse.
The design uses PET-G thermoplastic polyester as the primary material, with black components made from thermoplastic polyurethane. Jakubovskis has made the design files publicly available across multiple platforms, allowing users to produce and customize their own cases.
The case design includes practical considerations for daily use. Users can add cushioning to protect against scratches and rubber pads for the kickstand to prevent slipping. The keyboard slides beneath the Steam Deck when in use, while the mouse operates outside the case.
