Caracol, known for its robotic large-format 3D printing, has rapidly grown from a startup to an international scale-up, offering the Heron AM platform for polymer and composite manufacturing across diverse sectors like aerospace, automotive, and design.
CMS, a leader in composite processing technologies, introduced CMS Kreator in 2018, marking its entry into additive manufacturing. With expertise in composite materials processing, CMS offers a range of hybrid and standalone large format additive manufacturing solutions.
Together, CMS and Caracol plan to leverage their expertise in robotics and multi-axis machining to enhance large-scale additive manufacturing capabilities. By accelerating technological developments and supporting end-user adoption, the collaboration aims to unlock new applications for LFAM technologies.
