Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Unveils Ode à la Nature Collection

January 30, 2024

Maison Perrier-Jouët, celebrated for both its champagnes and artistic pursuits, has revealed the Ode à la Nature collection. In a collaboration with Atelier Montex, showcased during Paris Fashion Week, the exclusive Ode à la Nature – Libellule features intricate embroidery adorning a jeroboam (double magnum) sized bottle of the iconic Belle Époque champagne.

Drawing inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement and the historical Maison Belle Époque in Epernay, Atelier Montex’s artisans faced a considerable challenge in creating Libellule. Using 3D printing and traditional embroidery techniques, the dragonfly-adorned creation emerged, demonstrating a vision of luxury, excellence, and savoir-faire between Maison Perrier-Jouët and Atelier Montex.

The collection comprises only 10 limited-edition pieces, each accompanied by carefully selected vintages from the Oenothèque Perrier-Jouët. Cellar Master Séverine Frerson’s curation includes the delicate Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque 2008, the extravagant Belle Époque 1999, and the delightfully fresh Belle Époque 2012, all presented in majestic jeroboam format.

This collaboration goes beyond a mere intersection of champagne and embroidery; it is a fusion of two creative universes, where the precision of Atelier Montex’s embroidery mirrors the craftsmanship of Maison Perrier-Jouët’s rare and precious cuvées. Séverine Frerson notes the surprising parallels between the intricate blends of Atelier Montex and the art of crafting champagne.

In a project marked by innovation and traditional savoir-faire, the Ode à la Nature collection encapsulates the essence of Maison Perrier-Jouët’s dedication to art, nature, and the pursuit of timeless excellence.

We have no idea of the price of these limited editions, but as the old saying goes, if you have to ask the price, you probably can’t afford it.
