AutoQuote3D: Streamlining 3D Printing Workflows Through Instant Quoting

June 10, 2025

Following the recent launch of AutoQuote3D, a platform specifically designed to streamline quoting and order management for 3D printing services, we caught up with founder Felix Izraitel to delve deeper into his motivation, the platform’s key features, and its impact on users.

AutoQuote3D Launches Full Platform to Streamline 3D Printing Quoting and Order Management

The Motivation Behind AutoQuote3D

AutoQuote3D was born from Felix Izraitel’s personal experience running Pineapple3D, a 3D printing service bureau. Felix noticed early on that timely quoting significantly influenced job acquisition. He recalls, “One of the most time-consuming and stressful activities was sending quotes to people promptly. We found that the faster we quoted, the more likely we were to get the job.”

While instant quoting tools existed, they were prohibitively expensive for smaller businesses. After years of dealing with this problem firsthand, Felix decided to create an affordable alternative focused specifically on 3D printing services.

A Focused Approach to 3D Printing

Rather than creating a general quoting platform, Felix chose to develop AutoQuote3D exclusively for 3D printing services. “A general tool would have required abstractions at every level, resulting in something that doesn’t work for anything. Focusing solely on 3D printing allows me to create something truly specialized with no compromises,” he states.

The core of AutoQuote3D includes instant quoting, streamlined quote and order management, and seamless payment integration. Felix focused on these features knowing they would provide immediate operational improvements to 3D printing businesses.

Key Features: Built for Speed and Simplicity

AutoQuote3D’s primary strength lies in its ability to deliver immediate quotes, enabling businesses to reduce administrative tasks and increase conversion rates. “Instant quoting reduces the back-and-forth communication, making businesses more competitive,” Felix emphasizes.

The platform features a simple yet flexible setup, allowing businesses to maintain full control over their pricing and order acceptance processes. It integrates easily with existing e-commerce websites and payment systems, notably Stripe, ensuring a secure and hassle-free transaction experience.

Balancing Automation and Flexibility

Balancing automation with user control was a significant consideration during development. Early user feedback revealed a strong preference for maintaining control over order acceptance or rejection. To accommodate this, AutoQuote3D implements a process where customer payments are held until orders are reviewed and confirmed.

Real-World Impact: Client Success Story

Shop3D, an early adopter, benefited from adopting AutoQuote3D. Previously dealing with manual quoting processes, unclear pricing communication, and disjointed workflows, Shop3D found their operations became more streamlined after integration.

“AutoQuote3D allowed Shop3D to focus on more enjoyable and core business activities rather than getting bogged down in complicated quoting and management processes,” Izraitel explains.

The platform’s user-friendly design has been particularly well-received. “AutoQuote3D has transformed our 3D printing business with its user-friendly interface and seamless setup process, making quoting fast and efficient,” notes David from Detroit 3D Manufacturing. He also praises the support: “Felix and his team are incredibly responsive, always addressing our needs promptly and continuously improving the software with innovative features that enhance our experience.”

The time-saving benefits are consistently highlighted by users. Finn from Morin 3D explains: “This is by far the best quoting software we’ve used, it saves us a ton of time compared to manually quoting or dealing with other buggy software. The price is great, and the team is extremely responsive to fix issues and help out.”

Empowering Smaller Businesses

AutoQuote3D’s affordability (starting at just $15/month) and features enable smaller businesses to compete more effectively with larger service providers. “Operators too busy with printing and machine servicing can now have a quoting and lead-generation tool running 24/7,” Felix notes. The platform scales with businesses as they expand their printing technologies and sales volumes.

Continued Evolution and Future Plans

Since its beta release, AutoQuote3D has expanded to include additional features like customizable pricing algorithms, print urgency options, upselling functionalities, and support for SLS and MJF technologies.

Looking forward, Felix hints at further developments, including AI integration and multi-language support, with potential ShipStation integration planned for later this year.

Regarding the future of quoting and workflow automation in 3D printing, Felix envisions a highly automated, AI-driven scenario: “Eventually, you’ll speak a design into existence and effortlessly send it to the nearest and best print shop. AI will soon bring that reality closer.”

AutoQuote3D addresses a practical need in the 3D printing service industry, offering an affordable solution that helps businesses handle quoting and order management more efficiently.
