PCBWay Drops PLA and TPU 3D Printing Prices by Up to 40%

October 20, 2025

With a reputation for reliable rapid prototyping and competitive pricing, PCBWay continues to expand its commitment to accessible manufacturing. In their latest update, the company has reduced prices on two of its most widely used 3D printing materials: White PLA and TPU. The new pricing model offers discounts of up to 40%, creating more opportunities for makers, engineers, and small businesses to produce high-quality parts at scale.

New Pricing on White PLA

PCBWAY lowers PLA price for FDM filament
Often the go-to material for prototyping, PLA is known for its excellent printability, dimensional accuracy, and minimal warping. PCBWay’s White PLA has long been a staple among hobbyists and professionals alike, and now it’s even more budget-friendly.

  • Previous Base Price: $7.96
  • New Base Price: $4.98
  • Volume Discount: Save up to 40% depending on total order weight

This White PLA is ideal for conceptual models, architectural parts, educational prints, and more. According to PCBWay, the material offers a tensile strength of 40-60 MPa, elongation at break of 4-10%, and consistent melting temperature between 185°C. With its bright finish and structural integrity, it’s suitable for detailed prototyping and high-volume production runs.

High-Performance TPU at Lower Cost

In addition to PLA, PCBWay has significantly lowered the price of its TPU — a flexible, durable, and impact-resistant material used for end-use parts and wearable devices.

  • Previous Base Price: $12.45
  • New Base Price: $7.96
  • Volume Discount: Save up to 40% depending on total order weight

PCBWay’s TPU features Shore 95A hardness, elongation at break up to 650% in x-direction and 480% in z-direction. The material has a tensile strength of 27 MPa x-direction and 22 MPa z-direction. These properties make it suitable for custom gaskets, protective housings, and industrial-grade flexible components. The company also highlights its strong oil and wear resistance, making TPU a reliable option for functional parts that require bending or compression.

Unlocking More Value for Makers and Professionals

With the price reduction, PCBWay strengthens its offering for a wide range of users—from students and designers to engineers running functional tests. The lower pricing on PLA and TPU provides flexibility for projects of all sizes without compromising on quality or delivery time.
Both materials are part of PCBWay’s FDM 3D printing service and can be ordered directly through their platform. The company offers real-time quoting, fast production, and a streamlined ordering process designed to support rapid iteration.

How to Get Started

To access the discounted pricing:

  • Visit the White PLA product page
  • Or go directly to the TPU product page

Pricing scales with order volume, so customers printing larger batches can take full advantage of up to 40% off the original price. PCBWay also offers a wide variety of colors and material types beyond PLA and TPU, giving users full control over their parts’ functionality and finish.

More Options, Better Prices

This pricing update underscores PCBWay’s continued commitment to delivering cost-effective, professional-quality materials for prototyping and production. Whether you’re working on a flexible wearable or testing out a structural prototype, the lowered prices on PLA and TPU make PCBWay’s platform even more appealing for creators and engineers alike.

Stay tuned for additional updates, including more materials, expanded print services, and further enhancements to PCBWay’s 3D printing offering.
