Creality Falcon A1C: an Enclosed Home Laser Engraver with Optional AI Camera, from $199

August 1, 2026

Fully enclosed Class 1 safety, three interchangeable laser modules, and optional camera-assisted positioning and material recognition bring desktop engraving within reach of first-time makers.

Creality Falcon A1C enclosed desktop laser engraver

Creality has launched the Falcon A1C, a compact, fully enclosed desktop laser engraver built to be an approachable first machine for home creators. The A1C combines a Class 1 enclosed design with three interchangeable laser modules, and, on the AI Camera versions, an onboard HD camera that automates positioning and material recognition. It aims to remove the setup friction and safety concerns that often keep beginners away from laser engraving. Pricing starts at $199.

Made for home creative projects

Creality is aiming the A1C squarely at home creators: DIY enthusiasts, hobbyists, and small business owners who make personalized gifts, custom decor, and small-batch products. With a broad material range and a compact enclosed body, it is built for everyday projects like engraving wood and leather goods, personalizing tumblers and acrylic, marking metal, and turning a hobby into a small side business, all from a desk at home.

Camera-assisted setup on the AI Camera models

On the AI Camera versions of the A1C, a built-in HD camera handles positioning and material recognition automatically. You place an object, and the machine assists with alignment and fill placement on screen, along with AI Smart Fill and layout, so a rough photo can become an engraving-ready design without a separate editing step.

The standard 5W and 10W versions do not include the camera. Instead, you position the workpiece manually and choose settings through the material selection menu and a built-in material test array. Both paths engrave the same materials at the same speed and quality; on the AI Camera models, the camera mainly removes the manual measuring and test passes.

Safety built for indoor use

The A1C is designed to run in a living space rather than a workshop. It is a Class 1 device with a fully enclosed housing, so it can be operated without protective goggles, and it is backed by multi-sensor monitoring, including dual flame detection, tilt protection, and a USB safety lock. An optional air purifier filters smoke and odor for cleaner indoor creation.

Three tool-free laser modules

The A1C uses a tool-free, three-module system that Creality says supports more than 300 materials. Makers can choose a 5W or 10W diode laser, for wood, bamboo, leather, acrylic, paper, and coated metal, and add a 1.2W infrared module for marking bare metals and certain plastics, switching modules in seconds without tools. Engraving runs at up to 15,000 mm/min with true autofocus, and a smart lifting platform gives a 150 x 150 mm work area with up to 148 mm of working height. Optional rotary kits add support for cups, tumblers, and other cylindrical objects.

Software and connectivity

On the software side, the A1C works with Creality’s free Falcon Design Space on Windows, macOS, and mobile, and it is fully compatible with LightBurn for users who want deeper control. Connectivity spans Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB, with cloud storage and app-based one-tap engraving that converts a photo into engraving-ready artwork.
