Within the CR-Scan lineup from Creality, the CR-Scan Otter emerges as a versatile solution for 3D scanning, catering to both personal and commercial needs. This series is appreciated for its cost-effectiveness and user-friendly connectivity with computers and mobile devices. The CR-Scan Otter is equipped to handle an extensive range of object sizes with precision. This device is tailored for a diverse array of scanning needs and can be used for 3D printing applications as well as medical, AR/VR and reverse engineering applications.

CR-Scan Otter 3D Scanning Solution

High Precision and Wide Scanning Range

Its cutting-edge four-lens stereo vision, featuring dual sets of lenses for both minute and large-scale captures, ensures every detail is accurately replicated. The scanner employs advanced algorithms and technologies to guarantee high-definition scans and smooth operation, even on challenging surfaces like black or metallic objects, without the need for preparatory sprays.

Equipped with eight infrared lights, the scanner enhances its ability to track marker points on objects that lack distinct scanning features, leading to more accurate scans. This marker mode is especially effective for objects requiring high precision. The scanner has an accuracy of up to 0.02mm.

Engineered with advanced DOE (Diffractive Optical Element) 3D structure-light technology, the scanner has a higher environmental adaptability and maintains excellent performance even in sunlight (<30000 lux).

Wide scanning range with scanning distance of 110mm to 1200mm. High Scanning accuracy up to 0.02mm

Safety & Software

The inclusion of innovative safety features, such as the use of near-infrared light for human scans, makes the Otter a tool of precision and user safety. Its adaptability to outdoor environments and full-color scanning capabilities further amplify its utility across various scanning contexts.

The scanner is supported by the intuitive software CrealityScan. This is a user-friendly professional 3D scanning software that offers advanced capabilities for processing images and point clouds. It simplifies the scanning process with intuitive tutorials, quick model processing, and editing tools, facilitating a seamless start to your scanning projects.
